At IOXD, we believe that design goes beyond aesthetics. Our approach focuses on creating meaningful, functional experiences that solve real problems and foster connection. With this new website, we’ve aimed to do just that—crafting a platform that not only serves the practical needs of the ICSC community but also inspires its members in their faith journeys.
What You Can Expect from the New ICSC Website:
- A Fresh, User-Centered Design: The website is designed with simplicity, accessibility, and user-friendliness at its core. We prioritized creating an intuitive interface where users of all ages can easily find what they need—whether it’s prayer times, event updates, or community resources.
- Enhanced Navigation and Mobile Responsiveness: Today, we access information on various devices, and the new ICSC website ensures a seamless experience across desktops, tablets, and smartphones. Navigating through the site is smoother and faster, ensuring that information is always at your fingertips.
- Community-Centric Features: The website now has dedicated sections for programs, events, and resources tailored to serve different segments of the community—families, youth, educators, and elders alike. Users can stay up to date with the latest activities, sign up for events, and explore educational content.
- Integration of Prayer Times and Announcements: We’ve integrated real-time updates on prayer times and community announcements, making it easier for members to stay connected to the core religious activities of the center.
- Coming soon: Donations and Volunteering Made Simple: Supporting ICSC’s mission is now more convenient. With streamlined donation and volunteer sign-up features, users can contribute to the center’s growth with just a few clicks.
Behind the Design Process:
This website is the result of an incredible collaborative effort between the ICSC leadership, the dedicated team at IOXD, and the feedback from community members. Our design process included research workshops, wireframing, usability testing, and iterative feedback to ensure the final product truly resonates with the community’s needs.
We also took care to weave in visual elements that reflect the Islamic Center’s values—from its modern yet inviting design to subtle cultural cues that honor tradition. It’s a balance of the past, present, and future, ensuring ICSC has a digital home that evolves with its community.
